Bernard is a qualified Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and has experience in both commercial and not for profit organisations. Prior to joining breakthru, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the NSW Rural Fire Service Association for 8 years.

As Head of Finance, Bernard has responsibility for Finance, Human Resources & Workforce, Payroll, Information Technology, Property & Leasing and Administration. His experience in organisational change, streamlining business processes and systems, motivating and mentoring teams, building and improving stakeholder relationship and improving financial performance will certainly be of benefit to our organisation.
