About you
You will have experience in working with people with disabilities and the ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
As a Support Coordinator, you will support our customers to achieve their personal goals and to live satisfying lives in our community. Our approach is simple, we focus on the customer’s choice of supports to achieve their individual goals and ensure they are delivered where the customer prefers.
Our next support coordinator will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Mental Health, Disability or Community Services qualification or relevant experience (desirable)
- Ability to assist individuals to undertake lifestyle & community supports
- Knowledge of disability, health conditions &/or injury types & support strategies
- Demonstrated ability to identify & develop strategies to assist people to achieve their goals
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers
- Experience working with young customers with complex support needs
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Criminal record check (essential)
- Working with children’s check
- NDIS Workers screening clearance
- Immunization status clearance (including COVID19 Certificate or proof of medical exemption)
