Exercise Physiology is a great program for NDIS participants that are interested in improving their strength, mobility, confidence and independence at a comfortable pace. Our exercise physiologists use evidence-based movement and exercise intervention to remedy muscle injuries, assist with weight management and prevent or manage chronic disease. By working with breakthru you’ll receive 1-on-1 supports from one of our experienced clinicians, including individually tailored exercises and workout regimes that build your capacity and allow you to lead a more active lifestyle. This program is available to all NDIS participants with funding under Improved Daily Living or Improved Health & Wellbeing. Please note our clinicians are not equipped to support anyone under the age of 16 years. When it comes to finding the clinician, it’s important you find someone that you not only connect with, but also feel you can depend on. At breakthru, our clinicians will always prescribe tailored exercises that are appropriate to your abilities and daily activity, ensuring you can reach your goals. By accessing exercise physiology under our NDIS services, we’ll be able to help you with: We can work with you from our office, in your home or out in the community. The choice and control about how and when you work with your clinician is entirely up to you! We can even provide services using our telehealth platform for more remote clients that are unable to access face to face sessions. If you have an existing NDIS plan, then you may be eligible to access our exercise physiology services under: Improved Daily Living or Improved Health & Wellbeing. If you don’t have a plan, we also offer fee for service and payment plan options to ensure you can get the help you need when you need it. All participants must be aged between the ages of 16 – 64 and hold Australian residency in order to access this service.
