Allied Health Assistants

ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANT SERVICES TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS

At breakthru, we’re committed to offering services that give you more flexibility to ensure you can get the most out of your NDIS funds.

As a part of our multi-disciplinary Allied Health team, breakthru offers Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) to help you get the most out of your therapy. Our AHAs services are developed and supervised by our team of clinicians, to increase our at-home and community-based therapy options so that you can access the services you need to meet your goals.

Billed at a lower rate, our AHA support offers a great option to those looking to stretch their NDIS funding for more therapy time. This means that while our highly trained health care professionals will complete your assessments and develop your programs, our AHAs can assist with therapies and implement strategies to ensure you can achieve your goals whilst getting the most out of your NDIS plan.

Our AHAs are an integral part of our Allied Health services, supporting our practitioners through implementing therapies, gathering information for progress reports, developing resources, and liaising with other stakeholders. This allows our clinicians to spend more time providing specialist supports, assessments, and personalised programs.

Our clinicians receive ongoing progress updates from our AHAs, completing scheduled reviews and program updates to ensure that your intervention remains targeted towards the areas that are important to you.

Background

Our Allied Health Assistants

Our AHAs undertake both industry training and ongoing in-house mentoring from our multi-disciplined team of clinicians. Through this, our AHAs build not only an understanding of their own role, but a broader understanding of different therapies and the NDIS to ensure you are receiving holistic supports that are best for you.

The ongoing collaboration with our Allied Health professionals means that a leading practitioner is always involved in conducting the assessments, treatment plans, and will continue to monitor the progression of the program and make adjustments to ensure that the supports you are receiving are the best they can possibly be.

When you work with breakthru, you can be confident that each and every one of our AHAs are:
